New Faces
We have had quite a few new members moved into our ward recently - I'm sure some are missed on the list below and we will continue to add them as their records are moved here. Search them out to say "Hello" and introduce yourself, text them to say "Welcome to Chicago" or share your favorite place for cheap and yummy food . . .

Safely Meet with the Missionaries
If members are willing to have missionaries over, then missionaries are allowed into member homes, but they must wear a mask. It is up to you if you should wear a mask. The mission has asked that missionaries not enter member homes unless explicitly invited -- this allows the member to set the level of health precautions. 4pm to 7pm is essential proselytizing time, but they can visit you before or after those core hours.
Also due to missionary handbook changes at the end of last year, Elders now have some flexibility and can visit some single sisters without additional members present. For your individual situation, please ask the Elders directly.
Feeding the missionaries
In this mission they have asked us to invite the missionaries into our home for a quick message (~20 minutes) but to not worry about feeding them. We want our missionaries to focus on missionary work such as finding new investigators and teaching.
But if you would really like to provide food, here are some safe ways to do it.
Drop off a meal at their apartment or the church building where they spend a lot of time.
If the missionaries are visiting you, you could send them home with food.
Order food to their location. (Missionaries are not allowed to download the apps for food delivery services, so gift cards won’t work.)
